Welcome to Morocco! Your journey begins in the modern economic hub of Casablanca. Upon arrival, we will transfer you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, dramatically perched on the Atlantic shore. Feel free to relax or stroll the lively Corniche promenade this evening.
After breakfast, we’ll discover Casablanca’s key sites before continuing to Rabat, Morocco’s capital. Here, we’ll see the Royal Palace, the iconic Hassan Tower, and the beautiful Kasbah of the Oudaias. In the afternoon, we continue north into the Rif Mountains, arriving in the picturesque “Blue City” of Chefchaouen for the night.
Enjoy a morning wandering the iconic blue streets of Chefchaouen. Later, we drive to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Volubilis to explore the best-preserved Roman ruins in Morocco. From there, we’ll discover the imperial city of Meknes, admiring the imposing Bab Mansour Gate. We conclude the day in Fes, Morocco’s profound cultural and spiritual heart.
Today is dedicated to Fes, with a local expert to guide you through the ancient Fes el-Bali medina. Your tour will reveal landmarks like the Al-Qarawiyyin University, the famous Chouara Tanneries, and the stunning Bou Inania Madrasa, immersing you in the city’s timeless energy.
We journey into the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in the alpine-style village of Ifrane and the Cedar Forests to see Barbary macaques. The landscape shifts dramatically as we continue toward the Sahara, descending through the Ziz Valley before arriving at Merzouga, the gateway to the incredible Erg Chebbi dunes.
Today is dedicated to the full Sahara experience. You will embark on a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi to witness an unforgettable sunset. Tonight, you will stay in a comfortable desert camp, enjoying a traditional dinner, Berber music, and a spectacular canopy of stars.
After witnessing a magical sunrise over the dunes, we head to the magnificent Todra Gorges, a towering red canyon perfect for a walk. We will end the day in the scenic Dades Valley, renowned for its dramatic rock formations, where you will settle in for the evening.
Our route takes us through the fragrant Valley of Roses and the Skoura oasis with its ancient kasbahs. We finish the day in Ouarzazate, the ‘Hollywood of Morocco,’ where you can explore the historic Taourirt Kasbah or the famous film studios.
We explore the magnificent UNESCO-listed Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a famed film location. Our path then leads through the saffron region of Taliouine before we arrive in Taroudante, a historic walled city often called ‘Little Marrakech.’
We travel towards the coast today, with a brief stop in Agadir before following the scenic coastal road to Essaouira, a charming and artistic port town. You’ll have time to explore its historic medina and fishing port, enjoying the fresh sea breeze.
Enjoy a leisurely morning in Essaouira. You can visit a local Argan oil cooperative, browse art galleries, or walk along its historic sea ramparts. In the afternoon, we journey inland to the vibrant Marrakech, checking into your accommodation.
A guided tour will unveil the magic of the “Red City.” We will explore Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the tranquil Majorelle Garden.
Your day, your choice. Today is free for you to enjoy Marrakech at your own pace. You could indulge in a traditional hammam, take a cooking class, or venture out on a day trip to the scenic Atlas Mountains.
We make our way back to Casablanca today. Upon arrival, you will have the afternoon free for last-minute shopping or a final stroll along the coast before a well-deserved farewell dinner.
